About Me

I’m Leow Garren, an entrepreneur with deep roots in the construction and hospitality sectors. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape one of the most culturally vibrant developments in the East Coast of Singapore Katong Square.

As a director of Kat Holdings Pte. Ltd., I was directly involved in the creation of Hotel Indigo Garden, built on the historic grounds of the old Joo Chiat Police Station. These two hotels—managed by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) reflect my lifelong fascination with design, culture, and functionality.

Alongside that, I’ve served as the managing director of Master Services Pte. Ltd, a company I continue to lead today. We completed the acquisition of the full ownership of Katong Holdings transitioning from joint venture partners to sole custodians of the Katong development. That moment was a turning point not just for the company, but for me personally.

I won’t shy away from the fact that my journey has had its challenges. In 2019, I was fined in relation to a legal matter concerning contract documentation. That chapter, though difficult, was also clarifying. It strengthened my focus and reshaped how I lead and learn. I’ve taken those lessons with me as I moved toward something new something more personal.

In 2025, I launched Hotel Indigo Garden as more than just a name from my past work. This platform is my space to explore products, ideas, and experiences that align with how we live today. It’s not about selling. It’s about understanding. Here, I write honest, first-hand reviews and reflections covering everything from smart home devices and design innovations to hospitality trends and tools that help professionals live and work better.
